Pleco/ Sucker fish

Plecos (suckermouth catfish) are popular freshwater, bottom-dwelling algae eaters, often used to clean aquarium glass and decorations. While some, like the Bristlenose Pleco, remain small, the popular "Common Pleco" (Hypostomus plecostomus) can exceed 12–24 inches, requiring large, 75-125+ gallon tanks. They are hardy, nocturnal, and need hiding spots like driftwood or caves.
